Adab is a charity, established in 1997 in Bury, working with key stakeholders in the area to develop and implement initiatives that improve and enhance the economic, educational, social, recreational and cultural conditions of people from minority ethnic communities, including asylum seekers/refugees.
Our vision is to be a fundamental pillar of community support that helps improve the quality of life for Bury residents.
Our key aim is to support those in our communities who may be disadvantaged for whatever reason, specifically “to support people from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) communities, including new and emerging, refugees and asylum seekers, to help build their confidence and independence to become active community members.
