Regeneration Centre

About Regeneration Centre

Regeneration Centre provides opportunities for city residents and low income communities to reconnect with the Earth and develop climate change adaptation skills. Through practical gardening sessions, transforming disused local green spaces, and development discussion workshops we address issues such as climate anxiety, mental wellbeing, self-sufficiency and food independence. The aim of our programmes is to increase awareness of the interconnectedness between humanity and all of nature in order to improve behaviour towards the planet, starting with the localised action.

Sheridan Court Community Garden

Sheridan Court Community Garden will provide residents of Monsall, Manchester with the opportunity to reconnect with nature, grow their own food and improve their mental health post-lockdown through the process of creating a beautiful communal outdoor space. Driven by the local community, we will facilitate the transformation of a neglected piece of land into a welcoming outdoor social garden and a productive vegetable patch.

Particularly aimed at marginalised communities and women this project will build a supportive network of neighbours, and practical guidance workshops will improve gardening skills and increase access to healthy food.
